Just A Friend
Just a Friend is a story of courage, self-discovery, and the bond between mother and daughter proving that when it comes to family, love is love and fear is forgettable.
Sometimes the hardest part of coming out is not knowing how your loved ones will react.
“Supportive parents are a privilege…”
A CONFLICTED DAUGHTER
This film is a love letter to those who may feel bound by religious and cultural traditions, stifled by familial expectations or held back by perceived socio-economic boundaries. At its core, Just a Friend is a story about self love and acceptance encouraging women to challenge the external forces that tell us that we don’t deserve these things.
